Acceptance
By using Owling, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
Filing grievances
- You must have a genuine, first-hand experience with the company or issue you are writing about.
- Grievances must be truthful and accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- Do not include private personal information of others (SSNs, full financial account numbers, etc.).
- Profanity, hate speech, and threats are not permitted. Content that violates these rules may be flagged and removed.
Public nature of grievances
All grievances filed on Owling are immediately public and searchable. They are designed to be permanent records. You may request removal of your account, but grievances you file will remain on the platform as public information, disassociated from your personal account.
Company claims and replies
Companies may claim their profile by verifying their email. Claimed companies can post official replies. Company replies are clearly labeled and cannot be edited or deleted once published. Companies do not have moderation authority over grievances filed against them.
No paywalls, no suppression
Owling will never charge consumers to file or view grievances. Owling will not remove, hide, or suppress grievances at the request of a company unless the content violates these terms or applicable law.

Owling is a platform for consumer expression. We do not verify the accuracy of every grievance. Opinions expressed in grievances belong to their authors. We are not responsible for the content of user-submitted grievances.
